Inspiring Teen: Kinsey
Push Play Senior Kinsey Schuchhardt puts a face to the title “Inspiring Teen”, so it’s no shock that she is being nationally recognized by Inspiring Teen Magazine.
At just 17 years old, she made the courageous decision to enlist in the Army National Guard. She spent the summer before her senior year training; unlike other kids her age who were enjoying time at the river or with friends.
After one of her first days of school her senior year, she voluntarily took a 13 mile ruck in honor of the 13 soldiers lost in Kabul. At each mile mark, she stopped, placed an American flag with a soldier’s name, and said a prayer. She also raised around $1,700 in her efforts for the Wounded Warrior Project.
Kinsey embodies patriotism, bravery, and inspiration.
